KWAM1 Eulogizes Olubadan Of Ibadan

As High Chief Saliu Adetunji, the Balogun of the Olubadan-in-council emerges as the next Olubadan of Ibadan, veteran Fuji artist praises him.

Following the death of the Olubadan of Ibadan, late Oba Samuel Odulana Odugade 1, on Tuesday, January 19, Chief Saliu Adetunji has been announced to step into the shoes of the late king and is now been widely celebrated by many Nigerians.

Chief Saliu Adetunji is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Babalaje Music, is the man, who discovered K1 De Ultimate, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal. As part of the celebration popular Ijebu-born Fuji music artist is one of the first to congratulate him in a traditional praise poem (Oriki). Read poem below:

Not many know that High Chief Saliu Adetunji is the founder of 3 foremost music marketing companies: Omo Aje Sound Studio, Adetunji Label and Baba Laje Records. The companies have been in existence for over 55 years and to his credit, he discovered the highly-successful Fuji legend KWAM1.
