35 MILLION JOBS TO BE PRODUCED BY SMES THROUGH ICT

The federal government has said that Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) can generate 35 million job opportunities in a couple of months using Information Communication Technology (ICT) apparatuses. 

Minister of Communications, Mr. Adebayo Shittu,who in his speech made it known to the public in Lagos, said government was set up to investigate this window and additionally strengthen endeavors at expanding the economy through ICT. 

He said ICT has given uncommon facilities and chances to Nigerians keeping in mind the end goal to jump into learning - driven worldwide economy and appreciate the advantages ofsocio- economic offered by the post-information age. 

"The rise and subsequen advancement of ICT industry have stayed at the focal point of worldwide social-economic change," he said.
